3rd Annual Dark Winter Beer Festival
March can be a dull month so to brighten the proceedings we hold a dark
winter ale festival in the bar.
Start Monday March 8th 2010 until the beer runs out!
This will probably be on Friday 12th March.
There will be approx fifteen dark winter beers from around the country set up in the bar all dispensed on gravity. Just ask for a glass, pay for your pint, then help yourself to the beer of your choice.
Admission is free so please just come along and enjoy yourself.
The beers should include Mighty Oak Irish Stout 4.3%, Idle Porter 4.5%
Elgoods Black Dog Mild 3.6%, Nethergate Old Growler 5.0% &
Mary's Ruby Mild 4.5% Buntingford Mild 3.7% &
Strong Porter 5.9%, Shalford Levelly Black 4.8%,
Vale Black Beauty Porter4.3%, Itchen Valley Russian Winter 5.2%
Adnams Stout 4.3%, Davenports Thin Ice 4.0%, O'Hanlons Dry Stout 4.2%
plus several more!
Summer Beer Festival
Start Friday July 30th 2010, Saturday 31st July, Sunday 1st August and if any left, Monday 2nd August 2010.
This is our BIG Summer Beer Extavaganza. Twenty five real ales from near and far, as well as five perries and cider. If this is not enough more beer and cider is available from the bar.
Throughout the weekend the Big White Horse barbeque will be fired up serving steaks, burgers, ribs, tuna fish and more, all as you would expect at bargain prices! Make a note of the dates now.
Entertainment will be arranged and listed here as it is booked.
